Why Biodegradable Cotton Netting?
Amsterdam Fiber's 100% biodegradable cotton mussel socks are designed for sustainable mussel cultivation. During seeding, the natural cotton net securely wraps juvenile mussels around the cultivation rope. As the mussels grow and firmly attach themselves to the rope, the cotton fibers naturally biodegrade in seawater within approximately 15–20 days, leaving no long-term plastic residue and supporting environmentally responsible aquaculture.
